  • Understand and describe The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership®.
  • Identify your existing leadership strengths and areas to improve.
  • Create an action plan to continue your your development as a leader.
  • Learn methods to improve your capacity to engage in The Five Practices.

The Five Leadership Practices of Exemplary Leadership ®


The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® were developed by Jim Kouzes and Barry Posner. They have studied leadership for more than thirty years. Their research was focused on identifying what do effective leaders do when they are at their personal best. 

The set of observable skills and abilities – behaviors – they identified are the basis for The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership®:

Course Description


  • This course covers 10 modules in 8 weeks. See curriculum below.
  • Content will drip every Monday starting on January 30th, 2023 and ending on March 20th, 2023.
  • The course includes:
  • An online self-assessment of your leadership behaviors: Leadership Practices Inventory ®.
  • A 90-minute coaching session to discuss your results and development plan.
  • Access to the course content for 3 months after the last week (until June 20th, 2023).

About the Instructor


Rocío Consuegra is an executive and personal coach who works with leaders to increase their self-awareness, become more inspiring and guide their team to achieve extraordinary results.

Rocío believes that leadership is one of the competitive advantages of an organization and that by helping leaders develop and grow to be the best version of themselves, it will have an impact in him/her, their team, the organization, and the market it serves.

Rocío is the Founder and Executive Director of the consulting firm evolve! People and Process Management. She has more than thirty-four years of experience in information technology, retail, service, and manufacturing industries. She has developed Leadership Development Programs for several companies which are tailored to the client’s needs regarding leadership and managerial competencies. She has coached executives from several Fortune 500 companies.

Rocío holds a B.S. in Cybernetic and Computer Science Engineering from Universidad LaSalle in Mexico, an MBA from Yale University, and Diplomas in Six Sigma, Marketing and Philosophy. She is a certified executive coach from the College of Executive Coaching and is certified in the Prosci Change Management methodology. Rocío is a member of the International Coach Federation and a founding member of the Association of Change Management Professionals. She is a certified coach and facilitator of The Leadership Challenge ®.
